A Family of God's Servants - Meet the Kerstans

This is truly a family of God's wonderful Servants. Meet Erich, Cheryl, Jacob, Daniel, and David of Marysville, California.  If you attend any event where Operation Worship is present, you will see this entire family in action, setting up early in the morning, working all day, and working until late in the evening.  The Kerstans were introduced to us at Spirit West Coast in 2007 as a family that somehow wanted to help.  You might have seen them handing out bibles for 3 days straight, not just Mom and Dad but the 3 kids as well.  They work at most events now including our trips to military bases.

They come to most events with their bulldog "Freedom"  who has become the official Operation Worship mascot!  Freedom is quite an inspiration to all of us because he is able to sleep and snore during a concert, and obviously without a care.  We should all live our lives trouble free and without worry.

Freedom has his own website at www.freedomthebulldog.com

As Operation Worship continues to unfold, be sure to come and meet the Kerstan family.  This is truly a family being led by God and a family that has become a part of our family.

The Kerstans also distribute bibles to churches on Sunday mornings for the Operation Worship "Bibles for the Troops" program, started this year at Spirit West Coast.  You can read more about this program right here at www.operationworship.com.  Speaking of the WEBsite, Erich is one of the most active contributors of articles to this site and his efforts are very much appreciated.

God has made this world and then "filled himself with it" according to Gerald Frye, a local Pastor from Community Covenant Church here in Rocklin, California.  We are the people that God has placed here, part of the Body of Christ.  The Kerstans are so special because they so closely follow what God talks about when you read about being "part of the body of Christ". In many families, the parents are the ones that you see first because they know what the love of Christ is and show it.  In this family, you will see the 3 boys on the front line showing the love of Christ in every way.  What impressive parenting skills!

We applaud the Kerstans and appreciate so very much their continual love of this ministry.  Blessings to the entire family!
